Community Summer Fun Day

All children in the Carrier Mills - Stonefort area, ages 5 and up, are invited to join their friends at Carrier Mills First United Methodist Church on Friday, July 17 from 10 am to 2 pm for a day that is sure to blast away the mid-summer blahs.   All children should wear swimsuits or other water-friendly clothes.

The day begins at 10 am with Registration in Fellowship Hall.  A parent or guardian must sign-in their child/children.  After registration there will be a short time of worship and singing along with a hands-on lesson project based on Ephesians 6:10-17 - putting on the armor of God.  (The children will decorate Cutie Oranges and then enjoy them as a snack.)

Laughter and shouts of joy are sure to be heard throughout the supervised free play before lunch.  The children will have access to 5 game stations and 2-24' blow-up waterslides!  A lunch of hot dogs, chips, fruit, and popsicles will be served from 12:30 to 1 pm.  After lunch, 5 new game stations, a slip'n slide and the waterslides will be open for more free play fun.

Parents or guardians should plan to pick-up their children at 2 pm under the pavillion.

See you there!
